Is it too late to talk about resolutions for 2010? I’m asking because my resolution was to get my blog more interactive. It’s been a busy start to the year for me at Global Copywriting. Being late with my first post of the year isn’t a great start to my resolution.

Blogging: Full Circle

When I first started this blog, I was worried about being relevant. I had failed to understand that a blog is business writing. My concern was that I didn’t want to trivialize my business and potentially undermine my own efforts. It’s taken me less than two months to figure out that a company blog can be a powerful lead generation tool. I don’t know why I didn’t recognize it before.

Entering the Land of Blog

Along with the launch of my new website, I’m also launching my first blog. I’ve been dismissive of blogging in the past. I’ve been puzzled why anyone (and everyone, it seems) wants to express their opinion so openly. Why are so many people interested in reading the musings of total strangers? I’ll save you a rant about the poor quality of writing flourishing on the web. I’m not an English teacher and I’ll leave that campaign to the people that earn their livings trying to impress the importance of good grammar, punctuation and spelling.
