Have you ever had one of those weeks? I’ve been on the receiving end of criticism as it relates to my social media activity. In a little over 10 days, I’ve been reported to MailChimp for SPAM, publically outed on Twitter as a SPAMMER, and accused by the moderator of a LinkedIn discussion group as partaking in ‘cheap advertising’. In every instance, my first reaction was surprise followed by wonder. After that, it gets a little murky.

eMail Marketing: Holiday Rant

Have you been getting emails wishing you happy holidays? Of course you have. We all get them this time of the year. How many are sent by people you know and who know you? One thing I’ve noticed this year is an increase in the number of “Holiday Greetings” emails I’m getting from organisations I’ve never done business with before. I don’t like it.

Do you ever get to the bottom of your "to do" list? Like most people, I know what I should be doing. I have a long list of things I want to do, as well. While it’s much easier to “say” than to “do”, I’ve been making inroads into some important areas of content marketing. I’ve had a few “light bulb moments” along the way.
