Sarah Mitchell speaking about globalisation at Content Marketing World Sydney

Have you got a great story to tell about content marketing or social media? Can you present a case study from your company showing how content marketing has improved your business? Have you figured out a cool way to make content the anchor of your marketing strategy? Have you authored a book?  If you can answer yes to any of these questions, why not consider sharing your story at Content Marketing World in Sydney and Singapore?

Call for speakers

The CMWorld call for speakers is now open for anyone who is interested in helping advance content marketing in the Asia-Pacific region by sharing their advice, experience and case studies on content marketing. If you’re in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand or India, this is an ideal opportunity for you to help your fellow marketers. I can vouch from personal experience; the opportunities generated from speaking at Content Marketing World far outstrip any other event where I’ve spoken.

Tips for success

Before you apply, here are a few rules that will improve your chances of being accepted:

  • Sessions must be an original presentation and not publicly presented before.
  • If you’re an agency or consultant, it’s easier to get accepted if you co-present with a client.
  • Presenters with video examples of them speaking in public go to the top of the pile.

While it’s not a rule, one of the ethos of Content Marketing World is you need to hand out the recipe to your ‘secret sauce’. The most successful talks are where the presenter shares insight into what makes them successful. Don’t plan on using your time on stage to pitch your services, either. The gang at the Content Marketing Institute will make sure you never get an opportunity because no one comes to CMWorld to get pitched.

Here’s the good bit: Speakers selected for Content Marketing World events receive tickets for full access to all event activities (excluding workshops).

Get your application in now

Submissions close 14 November, 2014 AEDT so get busy and have a go at pitching an idea for your talk. Apply here. Don’t forget to mark 17-18 March 2015 on your calendar for the Sydney Content Marketing World event.
